Internet traffic use

Depending on how much you use the app, it uses up from 1 to 5 megabytes per hour. This is an approximate average traffic use rate based on statistics collected from various routes. The results of a specific traffic use sampling may differ.

The exact value depends on:

  • The number of app sessions (launches).
  • The number of routes and orders in them.
  • Status changes.
  • Comment posting and other actions.

You can gauge your traffic consumption using a consumption tracker on your device. If you're looking for the best service plan to use with Yandex.Courier, use data consumption statistics to gauge approximately how much traffic you spend.

Setting up background operation

To receive route updates and important notifications, set Yandex Courier to run in the background:

  • Allow the app to autostart.

After performing these actions, the app will activate along with your device and will be able to keep track of incoming messages even when your smartphone's screen is off.

This section provides instructions on how to configure the app on certain smartphone models. If you haven't found the instructions for your device or the names of the menu items don't match up, try looking for relevant information on the manufacturer's website or contact support.
