# Carrying out deliveries

You can carry out deliveries in automatic or manual mode. The mode is selected based on your company's settings.

In automatic delivery mode, orders are delivered strictly in the sequence set for the route, and you don't need to coordinate orders. Manual delivery requires coordinating the delivery time for each order.

## Automatic delivery {#autodelivery}

#### Route

The route is loaded automatically.

#### Start of delivery

1. Tap the first order to open the [order card](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/orders.md#order-details) and see the details. For more information, see [View order](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/orders.md#choose-order).

    {% note info %}

    If you have multiple orders associated with the same address, they will be combined into a single [multi-order](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/orders.md#multiorder).

    {% endnote %}

1. Tap **Delivery address** to open the route in Yandex Navigator.

#### Arrival for delivery

When you arrive at the delivery address, you'll see a notification with a countdown timer. That's the time during which the delivery will be registered as finished.

#### Completion of delivery

After a few minutes, the order will be automatically marked as delivered.
When you complete your first order, proceed to the next one on the list.

The delivery may not be automatically registered as finished (for example, due to the loss of the GPS tracker signal). If you have the permission to [manually confirm order delivery](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/options.md#manual-delivery-with-auto-delivery-enabled), tap the **Delivered** button in the order card.

## Manual mode {#manual-delivery}

#### Route

Choose your route:

1. {% include [routes-choose-route-list-1](../_includes/functions/routes/id-routes/choose-route-list-1-0a160b382ad2.md) %}

1. {% include [routes-choose-route-list-2](../_includes/functions/routes/id-routes/choose-route-list-2-dd465145ae5c.md) %}

1. {% include [routes-choose-route-list-3](../_includes/functions/routes/id-routes/choose-route-list-3-70f667258e08.md) %}

#### Coordination of delivery time

1. Tap the first order to open the [order card](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/orders.md#order-details) and see the details. For more information, see [View order](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/orders.md#choose-order).

    {% note info %}

    If you have multiple orders associated with the same address, they will be combined into a single [multi-order](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/orders.md#multiorder).

    {% endnote %}

1. Tap **Call client** to coordinate the delivery.
1. After the call is completed, the app will open the screen with order statuses.

    ![](../_images/call-result.png)

    Your next actions depend on the selected status. Select the appropriate status based on your conversation with the client:

    {% cut "1. Delivery window confirmed" %}

      Select this status if the client is waiting for the order within the specified period.

    {% endcut %}

    {% cut "2. Delivery canceled" %}

      Select this status if the client refused to accept the order. Then tap **Cancel** to remove the order from your route.

      If you canceled an order by mistake, [return it to your route](#back-to-route).

    {% endcut %}

    {% cut "3. Call failed" %}

      Select this status if you couldn't reach the client. The order will be excluded from the delivery plan and marked with the ![](../_images/excluded.png) label on the map.

      Try calling the client later.

    {% endcut %}

    {% cut "4. Delivery time changed" %}

      Select this status if the client asked to change the delivery time.

      When you select this status, you'll be taken to the screen where you need to assign a new delivery window:
      1. Tap **Start** and select the agreed date and time.
      1. Tap **End** and select the agreed date and time.
      1. Save your changes.

    {% endcut %}

#### Route optimization

This step is required if the client changed the delivery time. For more information, see [Route optimization](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/options.md#optim-rout).

#### Start of delivery

To open a route in Yandex Navigator:

1. Open the [order card](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/courier-app/functions/orders.md#order-details).
1. Tap **Delivery address**.

#### Completion of delivery

When the order is completed, tap **Delivered**.

If you marked an order as delivered by mistake, [return the order to the route](#back-to-route).

{% include [autodelivery-after](../_includes/functions/delivery/id-autodelivery/after-a2d0a48318c6.md) %}

To cancel the delivery of all orders in a multi-order, tap **Delivered**. In that case:

- The status of all orders with the **Not approved** and **Approved** statuses will switch to **Delivered**.
- The **Partially delivered** and **Canceled** statuses will remain unchanged.
