# Implementing the API

This section provides instructions on how to get started with the API.

1. [Contact us](mailto:routing@yandex-team.ru) to get the company ID. This ID will be used to work with the API.
1. [Get an OAuth token](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/delivery/quickstart/register.md).
1. [Add depots to the database](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/delivery/quickstart/depot.md). The route should be linked to a depot (even if the courier doesn't stop at the depot).
1. Set up [adding couriers](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/delivery/quickstart/courier.md) to the database.
1. Set up regular [route generation for the day](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/delivery/quickstart/start-work.md).
1. Set up data transfers.
1. Check your actions against the [checklist](https://docs.routeq.com/doc/en/delivery/quickstart/checklist.md).
